Folks, the time has come for us as anglers to
receive due credit for the dollars we expend in pursuit of our chosen sport,
bass fishing. As an organization we have also reached the point that
when we are negotiating with various tournament venues we need to be
able to communicate with them realistically the positive monetary
economic impact we provide their community when we hold a tournament
there.
We have proposed this in the past, but with the ever tightening of
local government budgets, it has become that much more imperative that we
be able to provide the various venues with the actual dollar amounts
spent by our organization, so that
they in turn have something concrete to substantiate why it is in their best
interest to provide a monetary incentive for us to select their local
for a tournament. This is not an inexpensive sport to be involved
in, as we all know, we just want to be able to highlight those dollars
we spend to
municipalities we plan to visit.
I think the form is self explanatory and easy to use.
You have already spent the dollars, we are just asking that you take a
few minutes and document those expenditures. If you feel something
has been omitted, please let me know and I'll make sure it is included.
I am requesting that you complete the survey once you return from
each tournament. I will compile your responses in to one over
